The Dirty Paloma Voice Studio is thrilled to host Carey Cahoon for a master class, which is open to the public for a small registration fee. This is an incredible opportunity for young students who are preparing solo performances and auditions! They will work on acting, telling the story behind the song and their over-all performance.
NATS STUDENT AUDITIONS: MUSIC THEATER (GRANITE STATE)
These auditions are a great exerience. The judges are friendly and offer great advice for improving your vocal technique as well as your audition performance. High School students compete for cash awards. This is only for students of members of the National Association Teachers of Singing, which I am. You must contact me if you would like to audition, because the teacher has register in addition to their students. These auditions are for classical and music theater only. SPOTLIGHT ON HIGH SCHOOL TALENT
The winner will receive a monetary reward and will be featured in a concert with Polymnia Choral Society during the 2015–2016 season. Broadway, classical opera, drama and popular musical styles welcome. Actors and dancers also welcome. AGE RANGE: High School.
NATS NATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION: BOSTON CHAPTER
This competition offers various categories for students of members of the National Association Teachers of Singing, which I am. You must contact me if you would like to audition, because the teacher has to obtain the application. Classical, Music Theater and Contemporary. You can compete in multiple categories. AGE RANGE: Minimum age for participation in the NATS Boston Festivals is 13 TO APPLY: Contact me to obtain an application for the appropriate division.
Two divisions: Junior Idol Division is for kids Grades 2-6 and the Senior Idol Division is for kids Grades 7-12. Previous winners are NOT eligible to compete. Finalists will compete on stage at KidsFest in May or June. AGE RANGE: Grades 2-6 and Grades 7-12

NEW ENGLAND’S GOT TALENT 2017
A talent competition in Rhode Island featuring the diverse talent of New England. Singers, dancers, comedians and uniquely gifted performers off all genres. Presented by The Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre presents New England’s Got Talent. Visit their website for more audition information.
HAMPTON BEACH TALENT COMPETITION
talented entertainers compete for cash prizes. 1st $1,000, 2nd $500, 3rd $300. Limited to Vocalist in one of two categories. (Junior & Senior). Junior category, up to age 18. Senior category, age 18 and over. TO APPLY: Mail an audition tape, photograph, brief biography and shirt size. Visit their website for more audition information.
SOUTHERN VERMONT IDOL
An amateur singing competition, offering $1500 cash to the grand-prize winner, $750 cash to the second place winner, $500 cash to the third place winner and $250 cash to the fourth place winner. “Amateur” is defined as a person who engages in singing occasionally, paid or unpaid, rather than as a sole profession. $30 registration fee. Contestants will perform one full song of their choice. THE VOICE ON NBC
Visit the audition website and follow the directions to create an artist account. You must be at least thirteen (13) years of age; Travel at your own expense to audition; Must be willing to travel to Los Angeles, CA, for up to seven (7) days for the final selection process; and if you are selected as a participant, you must be willing to travel to and reside at one or more undisclosed locations in the United States for several weeks at any time for filming, etc. Visit their website at http://www.nbcthevoice.com/auditions/eligibility to read the full list.
AMERICAN IDOL ON ABC
I have information that allows a unique opportunity to be seen directly by the producers and not be part of a huge cattle call if selected. American Idol casting is looking for the most unique, talented, and inspiring solo singers from around the country between the ages of 15 – 28 years old. This is a chance to get an exclusive invitation to audition directly for the executive producers. You must have the following information ready: Video link showcasing your talent (YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, etc.), 5-10 recent photos and a brief paragraph describing yourself, your upbringing, and why you would like this opportunity.
